TIG Welding Services in High Wycombe

Precision TIG welding in stainless steel, aluminium, Inconel and titanium, from one-off prototypes to production runs. Clean, consistent welds for components that have to perform.

Engineering-Grade Welding for Demanding Components

At Walton Fabrication we TIG weld components for customers across rail, marine, motorsport and general engineering. TIG gives us the control needed for thin-wall tube, exotic alloys and visible welds where finish matters as much as strength. Whether you need a single prototype or a repeat batch, we handle the job from drawing to finished part.

TIG Welding Materials

Stainless Steel

Food-grade, marine and exhaust applications, with back-purging for clean, corrosion-resistant root welds.

Inconel

High-temperature nickel alloys for exhaust, turbo and heat-critical components.

Aluminium

AC TIG on sheet, tube and castings for brackets, tanks, enclosures and lightweight structures.

Titanium

Fully shielded welds on titanium tube and sheet where weight and strength are critical.

FAQs

Q: Can you weld dissimilar metals?
A: In some instances and with the correct process, for example, stainless steel to mild steel, Inconel to Stainless steel is possible and commonly done. However, aluminium cannot be welded to steel directly. It can be attached through alternative methods.

Q: Are you able to advise the correct TIG Welding process, or does that need to be specified?
A: Our experience and knowledge allow us to advise or work with you to come up with the best solution, factoring in longevity, surface distortion, and safety where required.

Q: My part only requires a small weld; can you help?
A: We can undertake very small and very large welding jobs. Get in contact to discuss your requirements.

Q: Do you have the right coding for my project?
A: We have a range of coding; these may be applicable, and for specific projects we can add coding to our services, such as very specific Rail or Marine requirements.
